I don't know about that man. I think Anderson would be able to evade pretty well. He's always had the best head movement in MMA and that's when hes also worrying about takedowns and kicks. I think, knowing he only had to defend against punches, that he would be able to telegraph Jones' attempts to knock him on his *** and avoid them.
Of course this is assuming he trains in strictly boxing for a while.

Blah blah blah about Anderson's head movement. Roy's handspeed is at least twice that of any mma fighter Anderson has ever fought. Anderson's head movement also looks great against mma fighters, who don't throw combinations with anywhere near the speed or complexity that pure boxers do, especially when you're talking a guy who made his living off speed, like Roy Jones (even though he has lost a step or two).
Similarly, in a pure mma fight, Anderson would instantly attack the legs and hurt Roy badly every early in the fight. Roy's defense would become downgraded very quickly.
