"I would take a fight with Arlovski if it was offered to me. I said I wanted to go up to heavyweight to try it out when I spoke to Damon Martin. I was serious. I don't know that I'd want to stay there, but I want to try it out. I would definitely fight him if I had the opportunity. He's a great athlete. We can do it for the very next World Series of Fighting card. I'll do it for my heavyweight debut, and that can be for my very next fight."
Just read this on bloody elbow, would be interesting to see.

That's not an unrealistic match, at all. AA isn't a big HW by anymeans. I personally don't want to see it because I can see Rumble giving AA problems and I happen to be a huge Arlovski fan!

Rather just see Rumble stay at 205 and focus his attention there.

andrei has looked good recently, and he is 5x better than rumbles last 3 opponents.

This is all true, but Arlovski isn't exactly fighting studs either. I'm a realistic Arlovski fan and I don't want to see him fight anyone that has power in their strikes-even if Arlovski has the big advantage in the stand up. I'd favor AA-but would be nervous the entire fight.

He only wants to fight Arlovski at heavyweight because of his weak chin. And he just beat a tomato can that used to be a heavyweight.
I mean its smart. He could make some decent money and for Johnson it's a winnable fight.

sorry Rumble but changing weight classes after possibly finding your true home is NOT a good idea

Would he be the first to fight at 170, 185,205 and 265?

While I do tend to agree here, AJ could easily be thinking that he wants to be back in the UFC asap and making that money. Not a lot of big name guys at 205 for him to fight-sure, he could slowly make it back to UFC going that route, but with a big win over a guy like AA and UFC may snag him up quicker.

He should go for a real challenge and drop to 155.

He's probably very close to Arlovskis weight, but this fight doesn't make any sense, only if he had 1 fight at HW for a better paycheck, then instantly drops down to lhw, which is his better weightclass..

Siyar and scott smith fought at 170, 185 and 205, not sure of anyone who has fought at all 4

I'd love if Rumble missed the 265 mark, that would be funny.

Both are "mediocre" fighters. That being said there aren't many other LHW or HW fighters even at that level not under contract elsewhere. Let them fight.
