NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
His acting isn't the greatest but it isn't the worst. I hated how they made his voice extra deep. Overall I give it a 4/10.

Why would I waste my time on ANY straight to DVD movie? There is a good reason why movies go straight to DVD when they are produced by large studios, and that reason isn't a lack of money as with indie films. It's because they SUCK.

95% that's true, but sometimes a good script and mediocre acting from a small studio = a pretty good movie.
a great movie that never was in the theatres is "Swimming with Sharks" with Kevin Spacey as a cruel movie exec who likes to put his assistants through hell.
Great script, great story, superb acting.

Its there own fault for making him the lead, that was dumb.
He shouldve been the 2nd or 3rd main person.

That I why I specified large studios. When movies come from small studios, there are multiple reasons why their films go to DVD directly, but when a large studio invests money into a movie, and then choose not to distribute it, it isn't because of a lack of funding, it is because they don't believe that their investment will yield a worthwhile profit. The reason they would believe this, is because their film is bad, and more than likely has received lukewarm, or otherwise generally negative reviews from the critics in the pre-release screenings.

It's an action movie and I've loved all the Mummy and Scorpion King movies so I'll probably rent it. I can't imagine it will be theat good though.

The franchise has definitely gone downhill. I liked the first two mummy movies, and the original scorpion king movie, but thats about it.
