Anyone else really want to see this now?I know wrestlers are dominating and probably will for the forseeable future but it would be nice two see these two top level striker/BJJ guys go at it again especially both coming off losses

Rio headline? Haha.
I'd love this fight as a huge fan of both fighters. But Shogun can still compete at the highest level, and unfortunately, I can't say the same thing about Nog.

it would be intresting
in there first fight the deciding factor was the TDs from Shogun
in there second fight it would be mostly striking since Shogun wont get him down
I want to see it happen but what Shogun will show up is the question? Shogun really needs a tune up fight before fighting big names imo

I don't want Lil Nog to fight someone right now where he's the underdog. I'm tired of seeing Nogueira's lose, lol. Give him someone like Alexander Gustaffson.

I don't like this fight. Shogun just lost the title and is still ranked in the top 10 pound for pound (according to Sherdog, anyway). Little Nog just lost to a guy who is questionably in the top 10 at light heavyweight. Little Nog hasn't looked impressive at all since coming to the UFC. Give him Tito Ortiz in a loser leaves town match.

Ah crap, your right.
Well when Tito inevitably pulls out of the fight due to a broken spinal column, we can hook this fight up.

This could happen, the first match was epic. Something though is telling me it's almost a step down for Shogun in a way.

This was one of the top matches in Pride history so I'd love to see it again. They are evenly matched.

Yes! This was the first thing that came to mind after Nog's loss. Both guys are now coming off losses and it could be an exciting fight. Plus, if Shogun were to win in dominant fashion, perhaps we'd get Anderson Silva more interested in a fight with him after he'd KOd 2 of his blackhouse mates.

not for lil nog. he lost 2 straight to lesser comp then shogun. why would lil nog lose 2 straight nearly 3 straight, and get a step UP in competition.
not to disrespect rogerio, but he is NOT rodrigo, he actually hasnt even done that much compared to big nog, so stop treating him like hes a legend like big nog because he isnt an we all know that, he should be dropped in the ranks like everyone else.
rogerio should fight brandon vera
shogun shoudl either fight thiago silva or loser of rampage hammil if he wants to wait, maybe even lil nog vs rich franklin or shogun vs forrest 2

It makes sense to me, I don't care that Little Nog is coming off loses, those loses were due to guys just laying on him not being able to do anything standing or on the ground.
I mean yeah, you can't win the fight off your back the whole time, but with both his fights with Bader and Davis respectively it wasn't like he got KO'd or anything. They could only do one thing to Little Nog, and that is lay on him. (Could be inaccurate, I was VERY pissed off on both fight occasions.)
So yeah, I just posted this s--- on his Twitter. And by his, I mean Dana White's.
