Nope. Too short of a career. But what an impact in that short time....
Pat Miletich on the other hand.....

Yes
4 out of the 6 biggest ppv in terms of buy rates have Brock Lesnar as the headliner

People belong in there before him. But at some point I think he would make it.

Agree with both of u. He had a major impact on the sport and that should be taken into account.

Definitely. No one cared about the heavyweight division before Brock came along. Cain Velasquez, Frank Mir and Shane Carwin wouldn't be the names they are today if it were not for Brock.

Without a doubt he should be in.

On credentials alone? No.
For his impact on the sport? Maybe.
PPV sales, new fans, and quick ascension might put him in.

I keep wondering if Brock would come back should Mir win the belt? He's got to feel that he could beat Mir again and the fighter that sent him into retirement got busted for cheating right after.

Part of me say his run was too short, but the other part think he deserves it for all that he accomplished in such a short time.

BJ Penn and Tito Ortiz should b next. Followed by Miletich, Pulver, and Frank Shamrock. After that, id say yes. His impact was as big on the sport as anyone

100% yes. It may have been a short stay but I don't think you can possibly question his accomplishments as a fighter during that tenure. He's only fought one non-top 10 HW in his 8 fight career (his first fight ever), won the UFC heavyweight title (by knocking out a UFC champion/legend), and had two defenses of that title. He drastically changed the look of that division, from both a physical and business standpoint, and was always going to be a contender as long as he stayed healthy. Unfortunately that disease really screwed things up for him.

At a time when the Heavyweight Division was in a slumber, along came Brock. A freaking 40 year old Light Heavyweight had just won the belt, for christ's sake. Brock had the swagger to sell a fight, and enough skill to back up his bravado.
Hell, go back and look at Junkie posts before the Cain fight. I think like 75% of these post-ers thought that Brock would destroy Cain.
I'm sure that none of them will admit it, but that is what they said.
He won the most prestigious title in combat sports, and defended it twice. He brought many erstwhile casual viewers to the sport of MMA. Never mind the WWE, college wrestling, etc. Brock deserves to be in the UFC Hall of Fame. (and no I'm not a hugger, I said that Cain would beat him. Go back and look it up if you like.)

Even I u won't admit it, I bet half of u voted no simply cus u don't like the guy n aren't willing to recognize his achievements. He came from no mma experience. Beat the breaks off mir, went gorilla on a tested herring, tkod randy, rocked mirs life with a win second time, subbed the interim champ after a royal *** beating, and failed graciously against the elites in cain n overeem. Not to mention he was gunna throw them 'boes with jds.
N let's not forget his diverticulitis.
I am by no means a big fan. But he kept it real n succeeded in my book. How many hall of famers did that in such a short time

Absolutely, without even a second thought. I'll steal GG's argument, but if Ken Shamrock is in, then there is simply no way you can keep Brock out. Like him or not, he boosted the profile of the UFC by an order of magnitude. I don't watch ESPN particularly closely, but right around the time Brock hit the UFC, I first started noticing mma coverage on the network.
He brought a ton of exposure (and Dana knew he would...it's one of his savviest signings), won the heavyweight title and defended it twice and headlined one of, if not the biggest PPV the UFC has ever done and generated an astronomical number of buys in the process.

I voted no because I believe his career was too short and far more accomplished UFC fighters, are not in and will not get in.
That said, I absolutely believe he will get in, but the question is should he be in, not will he get in.
