Something like "Night Of Champions" where every title is defended. Or "Back To Pride" where every fight is contested under Pride rules. Or an "Open Fight Night", where any fighter can call out someone from their weight class and fight them right then and there. Or an openweight tournament I like to call "Champion Of Champions", where all the champions fight each other in a one-night single-elimination tourney to determine who the best P4P truly is.
I'm not saying that Dana White should just go the complete pro-wrestling route, but if he wants ratings and money, then he's gotta start thinking outside the box.
You can either disagree with this idea and NOT attack me for asking it, or you can agree with this idea and give me some more suggestions.

I don't mind it if it's like the upcoming Montreal card where an entire division gets sorted out in one night.

I'd like it if they did something like that on a yearly basis.

Yeah. They did it with the heavyweight division last year at UFC 146. That's as close to a "gimmick" card as I want to see though.

I'd at least like it if they brought back one-night tournaments. That's how the UFC got its start anyway.

That's not possible now though. Open-weight fights and single night tournaments aren't ever coming back, even though they were great.

Can't be done in the US unfortunately due to Regulations,I mean if someone takes a hard head shot in the earlier rounds, that would be an automatic 60 day suspension, even if a fighters ok to continue..
I would like to see something like that.

I wouldn't mind seeing some other format spice things up from time to time. I'm not sure what that might be but it could be interesting. "Night of Champions" would be WAY to expensive of a fight card though. Throw reported salaries out the window, these guys are making millions per event and a card full of that type of expense would be too much.

Especially since a lot of the champs have PPV clauses. With all of them cutting into the same PPV, it wouldn't be worth it.

Anyone think we should maybe have a Bantamweight Champion VS Champion fight between the male and female titleholders?

Haha. All of the Athletic Commissions would love that idea. Plus Cruz doesn't want to get armbarred by a girl in the first round.

I feel like there is a really good Chris Brown joke to be made here...... But I cannot think of anything good

Depends on the gimmick really. Nowadays there isn't too much they can do (since everything is sanctioned) other than have an all out divisional battle like 146 or the mini WW tourney coming up. I don't think having all the champions defend the titles is really in their best interest personally, but its not unfathomable either. I guess they could do a night of catchweight fights or a night of loser gets cut fights next? lol.
How about for TUF? That comeback season was still kinda neat. Maybe the winner doesn't get a title shot, but they could easily do a season of comeback hopefuls....Chris Lytle/Matt Serra as coaches.

Night of Champions would make them lose alot of potential PPV dollars. Will never happen.
Back to Pride would have to be conducted outside of the ASC's range of coverage and when they tried to hold their next event in the states, they would be scrutinized heavily for going against unified rules, even if it was just one night
Open Fight Night...the logistics alone make it impossible.
Champion of Champions...see any of the above reasons why not...they all apply here.
I'm not shatting on your ideas, but they could have been thought through a bit more...no?

I loved the UFC 146 all heavyweight main card. Would love to see more of that. I also miss the Country vs Country themed cards like USA vs Canada

they should do an all flyweight pay per view
Johnson vs Benavidez 2
Jussier da Silva vs Ian McCall 2
John Dodson vs John Moraga
Tim Elliot vs Darren Uyenoyama
Formiga vs Gomez

Basically what TheREALOmoPlata said:
Having every champ fight on the same card would mean zero title fights for 3-4 months before that and multiple big money PPV bouts being contested on the prelims.
Having Pride rules would essentially bring down the wrath of every athletic commission and push New York regulation back another 10 years.
Open weight fights and "call outs" leading to random fights that same night would present huge fighter safety risks among many other problems.
I think you need to get yourself a copy of UFC Undisputed and live out your fantasies that way.

I'd love to see a heavyweights card again. UFC 146 was one of the best cards last year.

Were they really that great?
I mean most of the time you got Joe flake versus wrestler and half the time the people that started the tournament were bounced out due to injury.
Most of the time it lead to unbalanced meaningless fights.
