Kind of ironic that some of these women are fighting with more balls than many of their male counterparts.

Maybe some of the men should be taking estrogen instead of blocking it

Exhibit B: Joanna J and Claudia put on a striking clinic, while Aldo and Edgar play point sparring for 25 minutes.

Exhibit A: UFC 197: Yair Rodriguez finishes Andre Fili via Flying Headkick round 2 in a barn burner, the ladies that night? Carla Esparza Dec. vs Julianna Lima which I can't quite remember but I am CERTAIN it was not a slugfest.
You have some hardcore recency bias going on. You're also generalizing not only entire divisions but entire Genders lmfao.
As for Aldo vs Edgar. How was that Point sparring? Edgar had nothing for Aldo. Aldo executed phenomenally. His striking defence was impeccable, as was his TDD, that fight was a must win. Also I don't seem to remember JJ vs Gadelha to be a "striking clinic" for the first couple rounds it was more of a
clinching clinic
from Claudia. In the Championship rounds did the 10 x Muay Thai champ look sharp against the stockier BJJ black belt who had ran out of gas? Yes.

I have been a fan of WMMA since before it was in the UFC, but on the average it is definitely not more exciting than men's MMA. I can count on one hand the number of women fighters that I want to watch: Jedrzejczyk, Shevchenko, Nunes, Namajunas, Cyborg. (I won't even count Ronda because as far as I can tell she's retired). There are other female fighters that I like to
look at
, but not for their fighting (e.g. Paige and Miesha). When it comes to male fighters, I would need both hands and all of my toes, and I would still not be able to list the ones who put on exciting fights. Now, that is a little unfair, because men have more weight classes to draw from. But on the other hand, with only 2 weight classes (3 if you count 145), there should be a lot of talent concentrated in them. Even if you compared just men's 145 and 155 to WMMA as a whole, you would find a much larger number of exciting fighters in those 2 men's divisions.

Okay, so you're not really a fan of WMMA. Thanks for clearing that up. Also, your clothes fit terrible and your wife is cheating on you with a member of One Direction.
