Goddammit, I hate my job, and yet now I'm doing it here.

Making a thread to centralize any site issues we encounter. New site, new admins new to adminimg, there's gonna be some hiccups. Having a central repository of issues will help with future problems, troubleshooting, and diagnosing.

If you're having an issue, post it here (or on someone's behalf if they can't). Also post here if you had an issue and it fixed itself or whatever. Good to track these things.

Do we wanna do a host migration? It shouldn't be TERRIBLY difficult (I hope), but is the juice worth the squeeze?

Or can we contact knownhost to unblock the ports?

Already contacted knownhost yesterday night. They won't open the ports. I also check for other hosting sites in the same price range but knownhost seems to be the only one to offer unlimited storage. Some others "Premium" accounts go to 340gb. And they're expensive.

Well shit. Why won't they unblock the ports, that's odd.

Regardless, what Id do, I'd have either @webble or @Eranys spearhead an email list for our people here (NOT you. You need to learn to delegate some of this before it kills you).

We can just manually work around the limitation.

We don't really need the email feature. And I think @webble already has a list of people's email.

We can change the password for a temporary one inside the admin panel.
