I want to start doing block weeks. What are block weeks you ask? One artist for the entire week. I need you guys to submit some of your favorite artists in a thread we will pick "One Artist, One Week"
So how does this work? I need you to submit a band, group, singer, rapper whatever you want to call it in the order I will present below. Who ever you submit, make sure they have at least 10 good tracks but try and submit 15 as they do not always fit in our one minute window coming back from our commercial break. Why 10-15? We do Five shows a week with 2 breaks a day.
Now if you pick an artist that I have a lot of music from, you will probably get bumped up to the front of the line. If I don't have s--- on your artist, you're probably not gonna hear from them for a while unless there is a giant uproar or you mail me an I-tunes gift card. I'm not trying to spend 20 bucks on someone that I don't ever wanna hear from after this.
I think this is a good chance for us all to expose each other (thats what she said) to different types of music. Please let me know what you think in this thread and use the other one to put up your picks. Thanks dummies.
One more thing, try and pick someone you think a lot of people would dig. I guess what I mean is, don't pick Russian Death Metal as most of us wouldn't dig it. Also swearing is something we have to watch out for so be aware of that. Not saying your song can't have it, just can't be dropping N-bombs on the show. Thanks Dummies.
