Can see what you mean with this....an event in Britain will generate news over here and after all of these news stories will be little snippets and ads for the next few PPVs.

my understanding is that the OP is referring to the PPV which happens a week after each of the UFC events, so he means the UFC UK event is merely being used regularly as an advertising platform for the US event which takes place a week after.
