what most fans of em refuse to acquiesce to....is em lost it when he went full on recluse....but

Royce is a shining and perfect example that it didn't have to be that way....Royce is 4 years younger, came up around the same time, has VERY similar styles as Em....except he adapted his sound by always mixing it up in the studio, and on wax, with his contemporaries...exceptionally so.

his Allegory album continues to impress the everloving shit outta me on so many fronts, but the biggest flex of them all - to me - is that he produced essentially the whole album....thems is mostly his beats, if not all of them.


speaking of em....the only appearance he made on the album.....was pretty fvckin impactful....and he didn't kick a verse

it's almost humorous...almost, that you prove my point while dancing around it...

the three songs i posted by Royce are from his last, and magnum opus, level album dropped in 2020. em has 2 albums, 3 if you include the b side of MTBMB, which dropped from 2020 - 2024....and yet, ain't nobody posting any choice cuts off either of them things....but if they do, they're almost exlusively the joints FEAT. Royce.

or they're em's showings/flashes of his PAST self, on features on other people's songs, like the above caterpiller joint....it's foolish to think he can't re-create or drop flashes of his brilliance, beacuse he is in fact brilliant with this shit....he just ain't go no ear to the current or the culture......and his solo efforts fall flat to the masses...and that's includiing his own fanbase.

also.....shoutout the Fire Marshall for even granting me access inna sense to even branch out into the beautifully diverse world of hip hop and soak it all in...without that beautiful soul, i'd have turn into a curmudgeonly skewed rocker type fan who hates all people who enjoy rap outside of the white guys who rap...for reasons
