3 episode premiere tomorrow! Really looking forward to a political/spy thriller in the Star Wars universe. Could be one of their best series yet.

Keeping hopes mitigated. Hopefully it delivers the same tone as Rogue One.

I'm not going to watch it, but that won't stop me from making fun of it.

I love that its mostly shot on location. Some of the landscapes in this look great and definitely have that Rogue One feel. Helps that one of the co-writers for Rogue One is the showrunner as well and is more focused on story rather than fan service.

Is there enough diversity though?

Andor is Spanish. That's enough for me.

Wow that was a fantastic start. Great idea to release the first 3 eps at once cause they flow like one big episode and it really sets the tone for the rest of the series. The pacing was excellent too, 35-40 minute runtimes and didn't feel like a drag at all during any of it.
Diego Luna is so f---ing good in everything he is in. Such an underrated actor. So glad he is getting his shine in this series. Him and Stellan Skarsgård play off each other very well too.
This is the kind of espionage level stuff I've always wanted to see in SW. No one fully trusts each other and the ones they think they can trust...they can't. Cassian just straight executing the 2nd guard in the opener was brutal and very much in line with the Cassian we first meet in Rogue One. Good people doing bad things to survive.
B2EMO is a solid new droid character. Curious who voices him. The stutter is nice touch. I hope we see more of Maarva and B2, which I'm sure we will thanks to the flashbacks. Speaking of flashbacks, I like the story setup with Cassian looking for his sister and how the last time he presumably saw her was when Maarva took him off that Republic ship. I imagine we'll get some kind of reunion later in the season.

Excellent, another 10/10.
Glad to see that the streak is still in tact for Diznee/MCU

OK, this is off to a much better start than the last 2 series. It definitely has the Rouge One feel. If you didn't know anything about this series and just started watching, you would have no idea this was a Star Wars series so far. That is a good thing. They do much better with the story telling when they are not trying to work in that Skywalker timeline.
Some things I liked....
- He killed the cop in the intro scene. Yes! While watching that scene I was telling myself 'if he doesn't shoot this f---er in the face, I'm turning this series off right now!.... then BAM!' Ok. Still in
- The acting is a lot better in this series so far. The corporate police are pretty damn funny. Especially the Irish guy.
- The overall tone of the series is just better. No space wizards in this series (so far). I really like how seedy everyone is.
So far not a lot to hate on. One thing that could have been a little different... why does every 'hero' have to be from a complete dirt and rags background? Cassian being a native from a jungle tribe doesn't really fit that well to me.
