to desalvatore, No this happened as UFC on fx 4 and UFC 147 were 1 day apart, however they were able to have bruce buffer at both unlike this time because brazil is a much closer flight from america than austrailia is.
and a 3rd thing, bellator doesn't have Rad Martinez vs Shambalaya or whatever his name is this week, according to Bjorn Rebney it's been postponed

ahhh thanks man, I thought it may have happened before but really had no clue. Man we have come a long way from watching 9 UFC's a year

Pretty sure it is. It's the first time they have had to use someone other than Bruce Buffer as ring announcer because he is going to be on the other side of the planet.

Woah, I didn't think they were both this weekend, for some reason I thought it was next weekend (Mittrione vs Nelson).
I'm really looking forward to Lombard vs Palhares. The airplane company actually lost all Rousimir's luggage, including all of his gear for the fight. Hopefully means some good Karma, because I was looking forward to him tapping out Hector.

Well the Bellator 145 final has been rebooked for Season 8. That was gonna be a good fight this weekend.
Really looking forward to Lombard/Toquinho and the whole TUF Finale looks awesome. Barry/Del Rosario and Guillard/Varner is just sick matchmaking.

Indeed. Both UFC cards are looking pretty solid on the match making part. Bellator took a big blow, but Hale/Volkov and
Held/ Jansen should be exciting fights. Don't know how much attention you pay to the undercard of Bellator bouts, but there's some intrigue there as well.

Hale vs Volkov is the fight this weekend that I'm most looking forward to.
I'm also curious to see how Hector performs after his rather lackluster first time in the Octagon.

Excellent... I'm sure the UFC is picking fans in Canuckland by the truck loads due to no NHL. I'm sure when the old timers are flipping to Sporsnet they are getting bombarded by MMA lol.
