I am more of Kantian Deontologist than a hedonist utilitarianist, although Mills way is how I make each specific decision towards getting to my sense of duty of right and wrong. Virginia Held ties it in that all the original philosophers were men talking to men, thus having empathy for those who's gender/mothering I have not walked a mile in.
The meaning of life is live. Life won't wait. I worked on a ski mountain pre pandemic and am enrolled for building little planes as an engineer next school year. Live. Learn. Love life while it is here.
Live like you will die tomorrow. Learn like you will live forever.

The driver of life is to achieve continuity and immortality, mostly through procreation, but humans also try to achieve it through notoriety.
