I know they are in discussion about making main events 5 rounds but could Dana White make a Super Welterweight Belt so the fight could be 5 rounds? Does anyone know the specifics of that??

Don't think it would happen, because as I recall D.W. saying, he doesn't want it to turn into Boxing, where's there's so many belts, with so many divisions, you don't really know who the best is. (jist of it)

But then hey, it's not like D.W. has never changed his mind, I just don't think it'll happen.

i remember reading somewhere with all the different weight classes and promotions there is something like 95+ belts in Boxing.
but adding a weight class means there has to be a good reason for it. For now it has worked......only issue is HW but that requires more talent to even justify that.
I enjoy there being more separation in MMA than boxing due to the fact we don't' see champs with several belts holding up several divisions.

Having people fight at there normal weight instead of cutting weight abnormally would fix all this problem with multiple weigh in dates.
