i was just thinking, who was the last guy to take the chael sonnen route of smack talk and actually win?
Sean Mccorkle- got beat down
Josh Koscheck- got jabbbed 6k times and lost
sonnen- triangled in the 5th
bisbing vs hendo- bisbing almost died
do you guy think it is worth it to talk all that smack for the name recognition it gets you, or the hype it build for your fight, or do you guys think it causes more trouble for the guy going the smack talk?
also, can you guys think of anyone who took the sonnen route and won

You can add Cole Miller to that list. He rans his mouth about wrestlers a couple months ago and got mauled by Wiman.
Do I think its worth it. It's a calculated risk. As of late, those who run their mouths, lose. However, it gains them air-time and the fans buy into it for the most part. So if he's willing to take an "L" why not, more money, bigger fights... Besides, we know Chael tends to ignore his loses.

Another one of recent would have been James Toney against Randy Couture. Talked a bunch of garbage, got dominated, and subbed in the 1st round.
