Ya they are great fighters but i think the main guys at blackhouse are getting alittle cocky, like mayweather cocky. Anderson lost alot of my respect and now machida is losing it aswell, the way they talk about their opponents after they become success stories is like wtf. Their true personality is showing i guess, you can say the way they presented themselves before was different from now drastically different, it isn't even to hype a fight it is just pure cocky attitude of "i am the best because i am in this group" kind of thing.
It could be just me but i think these guys are getting alittle to cocky and it will cost them.
And at the same time you have guys like GSP who are humble and the same from their first fight to last.

I know what you are saying, and I will agree that Anderson passed that point for me a while ago, but I don't really think the rest of the guys are that bad.
They are a little bit cocky, but they deserve to be because they are the best in the world. They are not to the point where I really notice it or let it bother me

It is not bothering me, i just am noticing it more and more as they become successful, i didn't "notice" it before but as time went on i started to see that they are pretty cocky guys. All the power to them for being confident and cocky they are great fighters it is just that they weren't like this before you know what i mean. Machida was respectful guy no he is going on about him being number 1 and he will kick shogun's *** period, he has all the right to say that but the tone he says it in is alittle to weird for me he says it in the most arrogant cocky tone. Sometimes, this is me exagerating a bit, a few of them remind off a mayweather.

Yeah all that cocky s--- that Anderson talks before fights
Never seen Machida say a bad word although I've heard him try and talk down what people did to him in fights, but he won so...doesnt matter.
As far as Silva....
The only person I've ever seen Silva "disrespect" was Maia, and even after all that he still bowed to him after.
Jose Aldo seems like a very respectful guy, the Nogs are about as down to earth as it gets....sorry just dont see it.

Now starting when? One fight by one fighter? I watched part of the Countdown and I'll be rooting for Shogun but when you're an undefeated champion its not being cocky, its called speaking factually. I think Machida talked down what Shogun did to him in the first fight, but what should he say? "Yeah he totally beat the f--- out of me and I'm surprised I got the victory" ?

See if you didn't watch the whole countdown why even comment on it? Like i understand you want to say something for the sake of saying something, but don't you think you should watch it the whole of it before you make a comment? maybe you should look at a machida before that gold was around him than watch the most recent interviews and countdown..

So, your assessment of the entire BlackHouse team is based on one countdown episode for one fighter, an episode you didn't refer to in the OP?

Well before I fully address your statements in regards to a change in Machida's interviews after he won the LHW Title, I should review a decent amount of those interviews. Would you mind posting the links to those interviews? Oh, and are they translated to english and/or do they have subtitles?
Thanx!

Well, I saw UFC Countdown, but you stated that there has been some change in him since having won the title. So I think that I would need to review some of his interviews prior to having won the title....
Do you speak Machida's native language? Maybe you could translate for us all, so that we may be able to make the same observations as you...

Id be 10x more cocky if I was on that level of badassery.
I bet Machida is too good for his own urine these days.
