These rankings are updated following JFC 10. It includes the newest addition to Team Xtreme Showdown, Smarty!!
For those that may not know, team rankings are calculated simply by adding up the ranking points from all members of a team, and dividing by six. If a team does not have six active members, the rankings will suffer accordingly.
Here are the current rankings:
Rank - Pts - Team
1 - 29.421 - Jersey Nois MMA
2 - 28.149 - Xtreme Showdown
3 - 23.763 - JFS-Elite
4 - 22.998 - 11 Ronin MMA
5 - 21.021 - Art of War
6 - 21.004 - Junkie Kickboxing Academy
7 - 15.385 - Junkie Top Team
8 - 15.079 - Team Predator
9 - 14.424 - TAGG Top Team
10 - 7.519 - Junke Boxe
11 - 6.508 - Baddest Junkie Juggernauts

That's awesome. The fact that there are team rankings now is going to really encourage a lot more interaction between team members to make sure everyone does well.
A mod should put this thread in the announcements section, no?

so if a team member is lost and a better fighter added the teams rank goes up?

Yea. Lets say Lightsout joined your team, your teams rank would go up like 3 spots :lol:
Thats why you want a solid team. A team of fighters who will show up to every fight, and fight well.
Ill add the rankings to the "Traning Camp" Announcement

Looks like the top 2 teams have a sizable advantage over everybody else... hopefully we can overtake that top spot in the next event or two!

I think those 2 teams have members who have been in all 10 JFC's. Once we get to JFC 15-17, most teams will have all of the members with 10 fights under their belts and it should even out a bit more

That is true. There are a limited number of JFC fighters who have been around for 8-10 fights. After the next 4-6 events, the team rankings will be much closer than they are now.
Just like it takes time for an individual fighter to work their way up the rankings, the same principle holds true with new teams.

Yea everyone needs to get their teams together, cause Team GP-2 is right around the corner!
If there are any teams that are incomplete(Cough-Junke Boxe) they will not be competing in the GP. All teams must have 6 fighters to compete. And that is not hard to do. We have 100 active fighters in the JFC.
