sure, maybe better fights would give us more than 24 fighters total.. Mixing and matching is not the way to go, cards can stand on their own. This is not DEEP and Jungle Fights.

They're great fights. I remember when JEC had powerhouse fights at times and more participants.

This is the same thing we did in December. The TUF fights we know late thats why we stick them in JEC.
Frankly JEC is a byproduct of total number and newer fighters.
If we arent getting many newer JFF fighters the JEC numbers will suffer.
I would scrap the JEC and take the 15 strongest to the JFF before I changed it to individual cards.

Reality is I am asking about the split more then the possibility of doing away with the split. It worked well I thought for the most part in December.

I'm gonna throw a spanner here, but hear me out. Each year, maybe once or twice the UFC do these 3 card weeks, so I'm proposing an annual Super Card Title or something jazzy sounding like that.
Have the two JFF cards as normal, but instead of having a JEC card to tag along we combine all three cards into one fight - basically a 30+ fight card.
It's at the most twice a year this would happen, so it would give fantasy fighting something new to look forward to whilst not running the idea into the ground. Something similar was done last December, though it flew under the radar. With a bit more promotion I think fighters could be up for a rumble.

Personally I couldn't imagine scoring that, the spreadsheet is set up to accomodate a maximum of 15 picks per person.
So everything would have to be hand scored and even if we got low numbers for a JFF (averaging like 60-75 sets per event) it would be an absolute nightmare to score by hand
