Terry Etim is returning to action at last.
The popular lightweight, who has been plagued with random training injuries since his last fight in April 2010, will return at UFC 138, Fighters Only has been told.
His opponent is Edward ‘Falo’ Faaloloto, who sports a 2-2 record and is going to have to pull something incredible out of the bag to beat Etim.
Verbal agreements are in place for the fight and paperwork is expected to be completed soon.
Faaloloto has lost his last two fights, being TKO’d by Anthony Njokuani at WEC 52 and then losing by the same manner to Michael Johnson at UFC Live on Versus 4.
Etim last fought at UFC 110 in April last year. He was submitted by Rafael Dos Anjos, snapping a four-fight win streak.
UFC 138 was announced yesterday. It takes place on November 5th in Birmingham, England and will be headlined by Chris Leben against Mark Munoz.
Thiago Alves was also confirmed for the card today. He fights Congolese-Swedish welterweight Papy Abedi (8-0).

I'm excited to Etim return, he is one of my favorite lightweights.

A guy like Faaloloto is in the UFC who hasn't shown anything of UFC material getting finished by Njokuani in the WEC in his debut and getting crushed by Michael Johnson, and then they give him another fight, but they don't bring a guy like Jamie Varner over from the WEC? Makes no sense, but Etim should take this one fairly easily ring rust or not.
