don't bother with LinkedIn, that's become 90% recruiters looking for recruitees. we seem to be in this odd era where there's an influx of people looking for people to do work and an efflux of people who actually do the work. then you get the influencers influencing for the recruiters, so there's all this smoke but no fire. the pool of actual workers are all competing against the next guy's AI resume, applying for a position thats not even available as that company is merely laying off some positions then creating new ones that they plan on hiring recent layoffees for. They need applicants for quarterly reports, they're all peddling the same seats on the same Titanic.

Exactly and the people you get from recruiters are shit. Everyone makes their resume look like they are the best in the world so you hire them, pay $40K to the recruiter then find out the dude is a sack of shit but he is now on a project and you can't replace them with another new hire or you will be in breach of contract.....Never ending cycle
