Basically free open source exact clones of the Adobe and Microsoft Office suite. Absolutely wild. I suspect these were clone coded while heavily using AI. I imagine we'll be seeing a lot of these long time subscription based software juggernauts be AI cloned for free open source use.

Wild time to be alive.

How are these not running afoul of intellectual property legislation?

There have been a number of these types of programs over the years. OpenOffice was the big one for a long time before going away. Libre Office has been the big one now for a while. There have always been many closed source paid PDF editor alternatives to Acrobat for many years but none were as good as the originals. The Crafting apps are new and clearly marked as Beta or Alpha versions so very early development. However, they look really really good. I fooled around with the Acrobat clone and it seems to work great.

Pickled cheese. Delicacy in the Czech Republic. And schnitzel that has butter soaked into the skin.

I switched from Libre Office to OnlyOffice a couple of weeks ago. I like it a lot more than Libre Office.

I bought a new Android TV box a couple of weeks ago. I tried a LOT of them, Firesticks (plural), the ONN 4k Pro and the ONN 4K Plus, the Google TV streamer, the Xiaomi Mi Box 3rd generation, etc. I returned them ALL.

And then I bought the Homatics box r 4k plus. Holy shit! I found the holy grail of Android/Google TV box for me. That thing is a beast. Price is higher than the previous ones I listed but it's much more powerful.

I know there are more powerful boxes out there but I wanted one that was Google certified to get Netflix, Prime Video, etc. And I also needed a box that was able to play my *REMUX files. The others would freeze or not even play the Remux files. This one does without even hesitating. I love it.

*A REMUX file is a lossless digital copy of a Blu-ray or 4K UHD disc where the original video, audio, and subtitle streams are extracted and repackaged into a container format (most commonly MKV) without re-encoding the media. Huge files between 60 gigs-120,000 gigs and even larger for longer movies.
