Andy "Phenom" Danger captures JFC GOLD, Pillman4 retains IC title and remains Undefeated, Andrewrees and BONZYRFC in JUF Finale
JFC, Nevada - Andy "Phenom" Danger took the former champ Andre3000 to the judges for a close Unanimous Decision. Andy "Phenom" Danger used a Peek-a-boo style of fighting to attack the Champ. Early in the fight Andre3000 throw numerous combinations that couldn't connect because of "Phenom"s ability to leap over strikes. With frustration mounting the champ Andre3000 felt like he was fighting himself and at some points he was. With faster than cat-like reflexes AndyDanger did a windmill bend to avoid a body kick by Andre3000, the move had Andre3000 whiffing at air only to do a complete 360 spin and kicked his own ***. The fight outcome was predetermined because all three judges feared for their lives in ruling against AndyDanger.
Intercontinental Champion Pillman4 battered "Massage my" Meatmallet into submission to retain his title. In one of the most impressive string of victories ever in the JFC, "Flying Brian" Pillman4 continued his dominance against JFC's top competition. To say the fight was not competitive would be an understatement. Pillman4 did not need any meat tenderizer to soften up his opponent, his fist and foot was suffice. Pillman4 will not get a much deserve shot over new JFC champion Andy "Phenom" Danger and hopes to avenge fellow JKA teammate Andre3000.
Andrewrees withstood an early onslaught from the fighter known as Bluntforce306 to finish him with a slick e-jitsu move in the 4th round, while BonzyRFC fended of many flying attempts from the master of flying submissions Tobikan-Judan before finishing the freelance fighter with a submission of his own. Former JFC 5-time defending champion Lightsout84 Liddell continued his slide with a loss to DanielsanFTW. On the undercard Standouts NS2B, JFCLegendKiller, and Srdafish garnered KO victories with promma notching his first victory by submission. JFC commissioner Dana "Showdown" White delivered in the first fight of the undercard portion with a victory over Prediction Affliction's prodigy Rico.

BonzyRFC def. Tobikan_Judan by Ear Pull 76 - 60

THE JFC INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE TO GO ON THE SHELF AS A GRAND PRIX TITLE
In a statement released earlier today by Dana "Showdown" White on behalf of the JFC staff, the status of the JFC IC title which was won by Pillman4 during the 2008 IC Grand Prix and continuously successfully defended will now be an annual trophy rather than a title to defend from fight to fight. After a successful production the JFC staff has also decided to continue another season of JUF.
JFC Intercontinental Champ Pillman4 has definately earned his JFC Title shot. In fact, he earned it a long time ago. But due to the fact that he was the IC Champ, he was unable to get a JFC Title Shot and be the IC Champ at the same time.
Originally, we thought we could unify the titles if he were to beat Andre3000 at JFC-18, but as things played out, Andre3000 was defeated by Phenom at JFC-17.
With this new format in play, the JFC administrators scrambeled to come to a resolution. With much conversation and debate, this is what we decided.
Phenom will face Pillman4 at JFC-18: Ultimate Junkie 2008, for the JFC Championship
The Intercontinental Title will NOT be on the line. In fact, Pillman4 goes down as the Intercontinental Champ of 2008. In 2009, we will hold a new Intercontinental Grand Prix, to determine a new Champ. This, along with the Team GP and the Junkie Ultimate Fighter, will become Grand Prix that we hold once a year. The IC Title will no longer be a position held in the JFC, but instead an accomplishment. One that Pillman4 has achieved and defended quite well.
We brainstormed many ideas, and this one was what I believe, the best solution to what would have become an ongoing issue. We appreciate everyones feedback on this matter, and believe this final decision will help continue to move the JFC in the right direction in being the best MMA Fantasy League on the web.

With 2008 ending, Pillman4 has my vote for fighter of the year. Can he defend his Intercontinental Grand Prix title in 2009. Only time will tell.

TOBIKAN JUDAN JOINS TEAM JUNKYODTONG
December 15th, 2008
- When BJJ camp closed its doors, “The master of flying submission” was disappointed but decided to move on. Though there were many offers received for Tobikan’s services, he ultimately signed with Team Junkyodtong. When asked why, Tobikan responded that Captain Mark “Tai Mai Shu” Dellagrotte and I both have cool accent. Tobikan was also impressed with the state of the art training facility and can’t wait to represent Team Junkyodtong.
- Captain “Kingofabuelos” Morgan went on record as saying
“I truly believe we have found the future stars of the JFC”
when talking about the future prospect of Tobikan Judan. He also added “You've made it through the drunken nights sleeping on the lawn, the busted doors, the "spritzes," the "splooshi," the juicier-than-normal fruit, the colonics.”

Just the ones mentioned in the article. When you have a win worthy of a mention, it will be shown

That was just my guess. But yes, you're right, I beleive the fight of the night/fighter of the night and KO of the night should be posted

When there is incentive to be apart of something people will try harder. If everyone makes the news then it just gets bland. If there is incentive of making the news it will give motivation to everyone to stand out and continue to win. Just like anywhere else. Most MMA websites don't cover the so-called "Crappy" regional cards, only fight cards that stand-out.

Great write up once again.....
As for the JFC's decision on the IC Title, hopefully this is satisfactory for everyone. I believe this resolution is without a doubt, in the best interest for the JFC and everyone affiliated with it.
Seriously, no mma league touches the JFC. Daily writeups? Graphics? We own the world wide web...

I would like it to be a daily write-up thing, I know it really hasn't been because Im busy doing other writing, but I try to get things out in a timely manner. Thank you for your patience and Cooperation, and Please PM any breaking news or announcements you wish to make. By having all announcements presented in the Daily News, this will legitimize the JFC claims to the #1 Fantasy MMA league on the web. Organization is 75% of the job.

Even though this is only the 2nd article I've read of "The Daily JFC Forum News". I enjoy it very much. A writeup like the last two most recent articles will definitely keep everyone interested and motivated, at least it does for me. I think this should become a daily writeup. I am not saying we should have an article everyday but at least 1 a week is plenty for me.
Again promma good writing. Keep it up!
