FIGHTERS SERVING A 1 FIGHT SUSPENSION?
Effective today, the fighters who were suspended for missing weight at JFC-18, willl have their suspensions lifted as a one time courtesy of the JFC, in hopes of starting the Team Grand Prix off on the right foot. Anyone who is suspended for not making weight from here on, will have to serve the 1 fight suspension.
Those serving suspensions for other reasons, will continue to serve out their suspensions as planned.

Upon enforcing the IP disclosure for all fighters, Tom "Buffaloblue" Attencio was contact by several fighters in reguards to multiple IP situations. Most of the situations have been cleared by the league and will continue to be monitored for any obscure behavior. One fighter though had traveled away from the straight and narrow and decided to create an alter ego. A source close to Tom "Buffaloblue" Attencio provided us with this statement from JFCLegendKiller.

TheRealDeal had started in the league with a 1-1 record and neither fight was involved against JFCLegendKiller. Tom "Buffaloblue" Attencio looked for action against this outed star. Upon consulting with the remainder of the JFC heirchy, the penalty was decided. TheRealDeal has been banned for life, and JFCLegendKiller has signed off on a suspension that will run through March 1st, 2009.
Promma was able to catch up with Tom "Buffaloblue" Attencio to get his comments on the situation. He said, "While I believe the integrity of the league is at the utmost importance I also understand that sometimes someone screws up. JFCLegendKiller was very forth coming, and only had created one other account which he instantly admitted to instead of putting on a show like TheProdstyl3FTW decided to put on. This will cause JFCLegendKiller to miss a minimum of 5 JFC events and the entire Team GP. With the team GP coming up as well, this will likely leave him without a team when he returns. The JFC staff and myself feel these punishments fit the crime. In addition, any future violations will result in a lifetime ban from JFC, JEC, and any other fantasy leagues that deem nessesary."
Tom "Buffaloblue" Attencio finished up with a stern warning to all fighters, "The longer you wait to come forward, the more severe the penalties will be. This will not spiral out of control. Our integrity is our league. Without it we are nothing."
Promma contacted the self-proclaimed star, JFCLegendKiller issued the following statement:
In light of the recent actions of the Junkie Athletic Commissions, I JFCLegendKiller, had decided to come forward and notify Chairman Buffaloblue that I had created an alter ego account.
TheRealDeal was created as a play around name, I have never used it to my advantage, just seeing how my original picks would do before I made changes to finalize my fight card. I apologize to the JFC administration for the deceit, to my teammates for the illusion, and to the rest of the competitors. I will serve my suspension, and hope the league will re-instate me come March 1, 2009.
