In honor of Jaromir Jagr becoming the 2nd highest scorer in NHL history I decided it it time for the MMA Junkie Off Topic faithful to decide the greatest hockey hair of all time!
1- The Great Mullet - Wayne Gretzky
2- Young Jaromir Jagr
3- Mike Commodore's Cup winning ginger afro
4- Marty McSorley's Mullet of Legend
5- Al Iafrate - the balding mullet
6- Bob Probert - the toughest mini mullet ever
7- 44 year old Jagr - The Return of the Flow!
8 - Barry Melrose - The Coaches Mullet
9- Brent Burns and Joe Thorton - Beards of Legend

I went against tradition and voted for the beards.

EDIT: I voted Melrose since I could only pick 1.

Gordie's do is a classic cut of that era. But I went with the odd ball selections of course
Rocket Richard also sported a fine do:

I love that era.
Lace up the skates, slap a generous dollop of royal crown into your quaff,
"Ready to play coach!"

Melrose. Multi decade strong mullet game, and no one rocks a pinstripe suit like Barry.

I voted for young jagr... I mean look at that thing. It doesn't even look human... it's like some luxurious animal fell asleep on his head. It's amazing. Runner up is probably McSorley because that thing is beautiful. Blond and flowing like a hockey god lol... if Hollywood made an 80's hockey mullet, this would be it

I gotta go with Doogs, just because he is the first athlete I can remember girls just losing their sh!t about whenever he was around.
Btw, we (Rangers fans) used to give him a lot of crap for looking like such a French fruit. Probably the most underrated part of his game though was his toughness.
Dude could/would punch the snot out of people.
A late (but worthy) addition to the convo:
