Put another vote in for Diaz vs. Daley, one of the best rounds of MMA I've seen.

For me, it's Anderson Silva vs. Chael Sonnen I. I think that it was the first true classic that I saw live.

Awesome how you have Diego in 3 of your top ten. Most people don't realize how incredible he is!!!

That Karo fight was incredible with the judo throws, and wrestling. Then Diego kneed him in the mouth and Karo's tooth went flying arcross the ring. Unreal.
Yeah it was a very tecnical fight( backwards and forwards) and has always stuck in my mind as one of my favourites ever..

First that come to my mind:
All around great fights (technically):
Mighty Mouse vs Brad Pickett

Cerrone vs Bendo I
Lauzon vs Varner
1-sided:
Nam Phan vs Jimy Hettes
GSP vs Jon Fitch
Rory MacDonald vs Nate Diaz
Nate Diaz vs Cerrone (even if Cerrone's leg kicks were very efficient)
1-rounders:
Nick Diaz vs Paul Daley
Kongo vs Pat Barry
Sass vs Wiman
Palhares vs Belcher
Mir vs Lesnar I
Mir vs Big Nog II
1-sided:
A Silva vs F Griffin

New to the sport huh? Might wanna rent some of Matt Hughes' old fights.

If he wants to watch older fights he can find about a hundred of better ones to watch from Pride alone than anything Matt Hughes was in.

Kinda, yes. First fight I watched was Chuck Liddell vs Wanderlei Silva. The fight was awesome and could be in my list, but I didn't enjoy watching MMA at that time as much as I do now, now that I practice it as well and know the game.
So, yeah, you got it right, I'm
new
(since '08) in the sport. I watched old fights (PRIDE, Matt hughes as suggested) but it's different when you know the outcome of a fight.

Favorite fight of all time would have to be Lyoto/Rashad

Cool. The sport has certainly evolved in 10 years, but there are some great old fights. Hughes trigg II is a must see, Hughes vs newton I, Hughes BJ II. Good luck my friend!!

I loved the Guida/Huerta fight. When I saw the look on Huerta's face getting ready to start the third it was like he was saying "Alright f---er. You are really pissing me off and now is the time to pay. I am NOT losing this fight!". Then he did it. (Won)

Come on man get it right. It was just a veneer not a tooth. Karo may try looking you up if you keep calling it his tooth.

That War Machine vs. Rollins fight is definitely up there for me, as well. That fight was insane, and
often gets overlooked or just forgotten.
I'd also like to add Diaz vs. Parisyan to my list.

If we're talking overlooked fights, Cole Miller vs. Jorge Gurgel from UFC 86 often gets overlooked and/or forgotten because of Rampage vs. Forrest...
