They used to have a machine gun shoot in eastern Colorado (like the one in Kentucky i forget the name), probably about 2006 i went, you pay your money and you can shoot whatever.

Using, FAL, m16, ak, Tommy gun, ma duece, 37mm artillery, 20mm anti tank gun, etc, etc, and by far the best, a mini gun. One of 6 in private hands (dealer). $200 for 15 seconds, awesome

$800 in cash. (2006 dollars and before the big jump in ammo prices) well spent

It was awesome

man, PD's are VERY slow on the uptake to new technologies. Many depts were still using revolvers in the early 90's. (long after the FBI proved the FBI sucked one needed more firepower and the revolver wasn't it in the Miami shootout). Even now the NYPD glock trigger is much harder pull than normal Glocks. I dunno why but they either all go as one (waiting for some big department to make a move) or they don't change.

the argument is the show, it's the campfire everyone's enjoying. they just throwing some logs on the fire to extend the enjoyment time.
