BREAKING NEWS!
In a statement released by the Chairman of the Junkie Athletic Commision, regarding a JFC fighter who has done a very commendeable deed:
Often times fighters get caught up so much in the winning and the losing of the fantasy game they lose track of their integrity and what is good for the sport. At JEC 16 there was a very unique situation that presented itself. Maddog forgot the KO 3 on the end of one of his picks. J Roc aknowledged at the time that sucked and said he would let him use what he had at weekly possibly since thats what he knew he would have used.
Maddog then responded asking him if this was possible. There was no response from J-Roc, and therefore I did not make any changes. After the fights the score was announced with J-Roc winning a split deciion 91 to 89. Maddog spoke with Jroc after the points and left it up to him as to whether he would basically give Maddog not only the win but a shot at the number one contendership.
While J-Roc is my teammate he is one of my teammates that I honestly dont know very well. I shutter to think that I would have claimed victory in this situation or in the least asked for a compramise of a draw. J-Roc did no such thing as he quickly acted in the best interest of the sport and conceded the victory to Maddog and with it maybe cost himself a shot at a title. Its so easy to get caught up with all the bad in these leagues, and sometimes forget that there are still those of us out there that have the hearts of warriors and can stand there and look you in the face as a man and be fair.
J-Roc has earned a great deal of respect from myself as the head of the Junkie Athletic Commission, the president of the JEC, a fantasy fighter, my teammate, and as a man. If we had a few more J-Roc's on our hands I tend to think this place would be better off. I applaud you J-Roc and thank you for a change giving us something refreshing to talk about.
J-Roc, A Man Among Warriors

That's a great gesture J-Roc...I would do the same thing,I wouldn't want to win that way.

Too bad icemantn didn't man up and do the same thing with andrewrees. He was not disadvantaged in any way by rees putting his picks in late.
Rees would have been #1 contender #2 at the worst if he had won that fight.
Once again, good on J-Roc for doing the right thing.

Just cause one guy committed a good deed does not mean each should.
I believe we should leave that decision to each individual, and saying that about anyone is kinda out of line in a thread that is celebrating sportsmanship and your just trying to tear it down.

Please take it somewhere else bro.
I will not tarnish this thread with your trash talk, you can make our own thread and we can go for days, but this thread desreves better.
