Lame.
Call me a cold hearted bastard, but I think white shorts dude should have taken other guy down and subbed him after landing a heavy strike.

Oh gawd, it's a f*cking fight. The best kinda respect as a fighter he coulda given him was finish the fight. He'll never get anywhere in his career doing that kinda shyt.

you guys are cold hearted
it's AMATEUR the win means nothing
if it's two well trained guys (amateur or not) yes the best thing you can do is give him an *** beating worth tellign stories about...but not when the guy has no idea what he's doing

The most selfless act I've seen in mma is when Schlamenko gave Ortiz the submission.

Or when Chandler went for a sub he knew he wouldn't finish instead of going for the TKO.

Meh, I'm on the fence with this one. It's amateur so on one hand it's kind of cool, but it can be a problem giving too much respect to your opponents at the higher levels because they certainly won't respect you. They'll be out for blood.

So take him down and tap him out.

I don't know if he meant for this, but doing that has benefited him way more than an amateur win would. Now he's gotten exposure on InsideMMA that he would not have otherwise.

This kid was clearly the better fighter and was about to send this kid to the hospital, he made a statement to the promoter and to his career, that maybe he should be fighting some better people. He could have certainly handled this differently and not tapped out, but overall, this is a guy who has good intentions of fighting in a sport.

This guy should try curling, or tennis.

How do I dislike a statement?
