Not a fan for that role. He doesn't have the right energy. DeNiro would be appropriately cast as an Imperial political figure, or even better, typecast as a mafia style villain.

Ok, to clear some things up, there are some loose rules for this game. I don't really care if people choose to follow them, but they're there if people care.

Replace an actor in a role so perfect for them that recasting it is a challenge.

Replace an actor in a role they were so terrible in, that a replacement is necessary.

Cast any figure in literature or comic books to the big screen.

Any actor alive or dead is valid. Choosing non actors is not within the spirit of the game, but exceptions could certainly be made.

That's it. These are the rules that I have had around this challenge long before it was a thread here. I used to have these conversations all the time.

No. This is how @motives fucked up this thread. The idea was to replace shit performances with people that would have done a better job.

There literally is no better combination than DeNiro and Brando. They literally have the cultural background and look very, very similar at the same age. You are setting someone up for failure to try.
