This thread makes me think of that like Phoenix Lee and f*** so many others that would have horned in on all of these famous roles that we all know and love they definitely would have been played by at least a few different actors

Wild to think that DiCaprio's career could be half what it is just if River had lived. Although Phoenix was already attacking outside the box more independent roles like

So he may have chose the Heath Ledger route. I remember Heath Ledger concentrating on a lot of smaller roles with more freedom to act versus big budget blockbusters.
In the few years leading up to his death that is. Stewart and Pattinson both did it after the Twilight series too.

Not exactly physically imposing but Young Downey could pull off what Hayden Christensen was attempting to pull off.
I know it's hard to picture him outside of what he's done the last 25 years.
But when he was young and going through the drug problems he definitely gave off a tortured vibe.
