The IVC was cool, but it was amazing how many of the fighters careers were ended after fighting in the IVC due to the brutal nature of 'anything goes' rules.

Rumour I hear from another board is that there are gloves and rules, just like regular MMA
As far as the old IVC ending careers, please provide examples. I know fighters such as Chuck and Wand got their starts their. think I even saw Severn on there once.
I just don't recall IVC ending careers, but it did start quite a few

Ya, Wandy was quite successful in the IVC, & Chuck & Severn both fought there once each. I've got most of the IVC DVDs & after each fight they basically tell you what happened to the fighters careers after their IVC fight & there are a LOT of the fighters who got so f*#ked up after their IVC fights that they either retired or were unable to compete afterwards.
