First of all, i want to take my hat off for Ronda and thank her for everything she has done for womens mixed martial arts. It has been a lot of fun constantly rooting against her, and then she has gone out there and dissapointed me time after time.
But finally, finally it happened. I and a few others has been laughed at when we have critizized Ronda`s striking. I have been saying it since her first Miesha fight. Ronda is not a good stiker at all. She is terrible. The only thing she has is power. She has been fighting kickboxing tomato cans for years, and when she finally met a legit striker she went down.
She really should switch camps. Nothing good comes out from working with Edmond.
Lots of intruiging matchups now, but what do you do? A rematch is most likely, but i really dont see the need for it. Miesha should be next, but then again Ronda beat her twice so what do you do? We have a dilemma her. Holm vs Cyborg?
She should switch camps just because Edmund told her 'beautiful job' after round 1 as she sat there with blood pouring out of her mouth. WTF was he watching?

I loved being proved right. Kudos to you as well.
I got a crap load of hate for saying her boxing was amateurish at best with looping sloppy punches, terrible foot work and no head movement. As a long time boxer It was pretty obvious that her boxing was lazy and had almost no skill. Beside the mitt work she has no skill. She has too many people telling her she is #1 Super Awesome.

He has gotten bye with not having to give her advice between rounds and it showed. He is nothing but a shyster and a yes man.

Ronda also needs to learn how to shoot for takedowns. She only knows how to get takedowns from the clinch, but that's hard to do against a superior striker with excellent footwork.
When you figure out Ronda`s style, its not that hard to beat. I have see the comparrison to Royce Gracie from the early UFC days. He brought something new to the table that the rest of the pack was not ready for, but it did not take long before they found out ways to counter his style. I do not expect Ronda to come back and dominate. Girls now have a blueprint to beat her.

It takes a girl capable of executing that game plan. Holly aint getting enough credit for how perfect she was

Thats true. She really has improved so much its crazy. I was also extremely impressed by how calm she was. I remember her not looking very calm excactly against Pennington. Jackson and Winkeljohn has done a great job with her.

The blue prints there, but it still requires skill and talent to execute it
Something 95 percent of female fighters dont have

As i have mentioned earlier, i think Holm and Nunes is the worst matchups for Ronda at 135. Somone who is moving in circles and has speed and head movement beats her. Ronda is too flat footed.

I think Nunes would bring something to the table with Holly. Not sure if she could win, but I think she could come close.
This fight so much reminded me of Franklin vs Silva 1... where shortly into the fight you're like... "uhhh..."
and then at the end you're feeling bad for the person getting their face busted!
