I feel like its perfectly clear that either Aldo or Pettis will face either Bendo or Gilbert in a Champion VS Champion fight for the UFC Lightweight Championship! The only thing that's missing is an official announcement from Dana!

barring injury this could happen as the main event for the UFCs year end show. But Aldo seemed pretty adamant that he didn't want to go to lightweight (but did want the Edgar fight pretty badly) so I only see it happening if Pettis wins.
It will all depend on how he does against Aldo, but before the announcement I thought Bendo would take Pettis in the rematch.

I don't see Aldo at 155 anytime soon. Win/Lose vs. Pettis he still has fights there. Plus the guy is only 26 and 145 might start getting more interesting with Edgar coming in and Lamas/KZ/Koch/Swanson/Poirier/Guida battling it out.
