So Rashad will probably go to Grudge Training center with Trevor Wittman right? I mean I know they pretty much work together alot and swap fighters around so that would make the most sense imo.
Do you think the other guys will take sides? I would imagine the guys that have been training with Rashad forever (Jardine, Villasenor, Van Arsdale) would sympathize with Rashad. It will probably be pretty awkward and polarizing between the two camps I would think. I can see how Rashad would feel a little slighted cause Jacksons kinda jumped on the Jones bandwagon and pretty much said "well see ya later 'Shad".
Anyway I think Jonny Jones would finish Rashad in much the same fashion he did Shogun but a round quicker. Sucks to be Rashad

I think any tension or feud is fabricated to sell the fight.

Greg didn't bring this situation out. Rashad and Jon Jones did, by excelling in the highest level of competition. The problem really becomes now, "This dude is my friend, and almost like a brother to me". But, at the end of the day, I am happy to see that Evans and Jones will square off, and fight in the cage. Its a business, a contact sport, and it is a SOLO sport, not a team sport. Yes, your team helps you prepare, train, and improve, but at the end of the day, it is only 1 vs 1 when the cage door closes.

This is not the first time a camp v camp right as taken place. It is just the first time that such high level fighters, in the UFC at least, have been pegged to fight.
It sounds like Jones and Evans, despite being in the same camp, are not even friends neccesarily. Which is fine, who says you have to be friends with everyone you work with.
What it really sounds like "caused" the rift is that Greg Jackson, and indeed Evans himself, realized the potential in Jones and really believed that he would be competing for the championship. It is one thing in Evans' eyes I guess the train Keith Jardine, who no one thinks will really ever compete for the title, and training someone else you think has a realistic chance at it.
Not sure what I think about that yet
I guess I get the point. Evans, despite his words, wanted to train at Jackson's camp and by those coaches. He doesn't want those coaches training the guy he is going to fight, because the assumption is he thinks they are the best coaches.
Still - from a business prespective, it would be stupid for Jackson to TURN AWAY a potential champion.

Sounds like Evans was disrespected by Jackson. But Jackson gets a small purse from all of his fighters. Evans needs to keep that in mind.
I can see why Evans is upset. Evans was there first. Jackson kinda brings bad karma to his camp. Remember teh Deigo leaving because of GSP.
I dont know what to think of Greg Jackson camp. People will always say his camp is amazing by default due to who trains there.....The truth being told is Carwin trains somewhere else, Evans trains somewhere else. When the fight comes, that is when Jackson is in their corner.
I dont know.......This is interesting and I hope we get more dirt on Jackson in the coming weeks.

I find it interesting that when Evans was getting his shot at the title that Jones and Rashad said he wouldn't fight each other even for the title. The moment Rashad gets hurt and Jones get the shot Evans tune changes. I'm not faulting the guy for wanting his shot at the title but it's hypocritical to change stances once the shoe is on the other foot.

GSP also mainly trains at tri-star and Nate mostly trains in Colorado.
