UFC welterweight fighter, Thiago Alves, tells Tatame.com that he intends to finish all his fights going forward.
After going on an a tear in the welterweight division that spanned a two-year, seven-fight unbeaten streak to earn a shot at the UFC’s welterweight title, Alves has dropped three of his last four contests by way of decision.
With a new found focus in training will he be able to get back the dominance he one once displayed?

Him being in my top 5 favorite fighters, I want to believe him, but I don't think the wrestler heavy WW division will let him fight that way.

I just hope he realizes he had a bad game plan, or that he let the game plan slip out the window his last fight, very disappointed, and frustrated with the dawg. He shouldn't worry about the Judges at all, he should think about his game plans.
He's almost passing the buck, like blaming his loss on the Judges. The Judges didn't lose him that fight, he did.

It'll work for a while as he takes on lower level competition. But if he is successful in not seeing the scoring cards, he will undoubtedly find himself back "in the mix," and back to the score cards.

never thought he was that good of a fighter and he hasn't changed my view............that being said.....lol ya right in the WW division and no more fights going to the judges

Agreed. I find it hard to believe that he is JUST NOW realizing that letting a close fight go to decision is a bad idea.
