Its 8 weeks away, my technique is sound but my cardio is questionable. Any tips from the fellow junkies on getting some cardio increases in 8 weeks, mainly my explosiveness sucks, im not all that athletic more mechanical. Its an 8 man tournament and every fight is 1 10 minute round. Unusual I know but hey I don't care, im just doing it for experience.
Game plan, dominic cruz for 4 minutes then Jon fitch for 4 more and then hazelett for 2 .
Thoughts, tips questions?

Finally someone posts about fighting!
8 weeks is plenty of time, I'm actually getting ready for my final ammy fight on 4/23, so I'm right there with you.
Basics for fight ready cardio-
4 miles of running a day, preferably with some wind sprints mixed in to mimic flurry/brawl situations.
Lots of sparring and rolling, you're in a tournament so you want to focus on working TD's from the clinch, leg kicks, and sweeps/getting up. A night of multiple fiights is no place to be fighting from your back, particularly if the rounds are 10 minutes long. I say practive clinch sweeps and throws because you won't have enough energy to keep getting sprawled on as the night progresses.
let me know if you have any specific questions.
