who would win the battle of us military ?
with the news that tim is heading over to the ufc i think this fight would be very interesting, if kennedy could get the fight to the ground he has the clear advantage over stann but if it stayed standing stann has the edge.
They both train at Greg Jackson's and they're practically best friends, plus they've both said countless times that each other are the only person they would never fight.
I'm not really adding anything, I just like to point sh*t like this out.

I use to be a huge stann hater but ever since I went on my rant on these forums Stann has toned back the whole sucking up to fans with the military stuff. He has started to give allthe credit elsewhere when mentioned. Fellow soildiers and what not. Hes cracked a few jokes, and the whole fly video thing showed me some kinda personality... Ya I agree on the whole T.K. thing thou
This fight would never happen but if we have learned anything from Stann we should know this is a win for Kennedy for sure. Stann has power, but it's hard to KO someone from your back, and Stann on his back isn't doing much of other things either....
Surprised to see so many people picking Stann here, I think Kennedy has this one in the bag easily. With Stann's lousy ground game and Kennedy's wrestling, this is a no-brainer.
I like them both. It would be nice to see Tim Kennedy in the UFC but I want to see a good roster in Strikeforce (if they really intend to run it like that) in which case it'd be fine for Kennedy to stay as long as he gets some good competition there.
Now I know some think Kennedy would easily have it because of his wrestling and Stann's supposed terrible ground game, but lets realize that Sonnen is on another level than most. Also it's a sure bet that Stann has been training wrestling and BJJ a lot for the year+ before the Sonnen fight, and since it. So while Sonnen's takedown and ground game were too much for Brian Stann, I think Stann might be able to handle Kennedy there, and thus win on the feet.
