I will first say this:
While the Women's Bantamweight Division has some improving to do, I still believe the women the UFC has signed to that division are good fighters, and Ronda Rousey just happens to be the Anderson Silva of a division full of Rich Franklins and Dan Hendersons...
With that in mind, I have a statement and question for you:
TUF 20 will crown the inaugural UFC Women's Strawweight Champion. The Women's Strawweight and Atomweight Divisions are, in my opinion, the most exciting, technical, and talent-rich divisions in WMMA. Is there any hope that watching TUF 20 when it premieres will give you a more positive perspective of WMMA?
(All haters of the Men's Flyweight division, please don't bother, because you already don't like the lighter weight classes as it is. I don't want to deal with your bulls--- today.)

So are you saying that your opinion of Women's 135 has little impact on what your opinion will be of 115?

Woman's bw is the weakest division in mma, no matter how badly Ronda fans want to pretend that's not true. but that shouldn't reflect negatively on Ronda's talent. She's extremely talented, I just can't rank her among the best in mma until she fights someone good
115 and 105 are great divisions. I wouldn't go as far to say they are the most exciting and technical divisions, but they so have far superior talent to 135

No one seemed to care when GSP and Anderson had no competition in their divisions and had to resort to fighting guys like Koscheck, Maia and Thales Lettuce

That's where the conversation gets divided. Maybe it's because of the how long those divisions have been around versus Women's 135, but still its a pretty significant double standard to give Anderson and GSP props for making their opponents look like garbage while downplaying Ronda for doing the exact same thing.

That's how I have felt. Like I literally had no interest in the fight last night, I was more interested in the Luke Zachrich fight lol

115 looks really competitive. And I think, with the title on the line, TUF20 will be nuts. Don't see a bad fight in the bunch. 135 is weak and Ronda is just in a class of her own. I'm fully supportive of the girls, it just sucks that the UFC is promoting such a weak division only for it's champ. I hope 115 can establish some competitive credibility for WMMA in general.

It already did for Invicta, along with 105 and 125. Those divisions are where the true money is in WMMA.

Oh and I know it's been said a billion times but Ronda is like Royce Gracie and this is UFC 1. Wmma won't always be shallow, hell like you said there's some beasts at 115-105 already. Couldn't say that a few years ago
A few years from know there's gonna be girls at 135 who make Ronda look like a can, and that's not a knock against Ronda by any means. It's just wmma growing. Same way it is for the men today

This is very true. But there's definitely a demographic of strictly UFC fans whose only experience with women is the UFC's 135 division. Women have something to prove to those fans, 115 can do it

Yup, 135 is for the chubby girls, 115 is where it's at.

Those guys Anderson and GSP were also All American Wrestlers and BJJ world champions. RR biggest test was Tate who wrestled in high school. The other Olympian she faced Herb Dean didnt let the fight play out. I like RR, she is the best in her sport of MMA but last night she faced a woman slower, weaker, not as athletic and that couldnt punch hard enough to hurt her. Though there has been some real entertaining Women fights at 135lb where the fighters did give their all in the cage. I will give the 115lb division a chance but I have a feeling that they might not be able to hit hard enough to make you not want to turn your head to miss something

1) People shouted down Anderson's competition the entire time. You just weren't around
2) GSP had people challenge him..Hughes, BJ, Serra....

Whatever you say, but people will complain about anything in MMA, i just don't see much of a difference between Ronda's early UFC career and Anderson's early UFC career.
He destroyed Marquardt, Lutter, Leben and Franklin twice but as time went on, more worthy opponents emerged. I have a feeling that if Zingano gives her a tough fight and then people will say that Ronda is over-rated and that she was exposed and that she was never good.

I think her dominating right now is similar to when Royce or Matt Hughes early in their careers. They had a really established skill set and were so far ahead of the people they were fighting. I don't blame a fighter for outlassing their oppents and I don't think RR is over rated. People love to hate, they hate on her and they hate on Jones.

I used to call Ronda a "One Trick Pony" but after seeing her win her last two fights by TKO/KO, i guess i was wrong. She has pretty much cleaned out the UFC 135 division. The UFC needs to bring in New Girls at 135! I'm still on the fence about how good the 115 division will be. Maybe it will be more competitve than 135?

Anyone who knows WMMA knows that the 145 lb division is actually the weakest. I can't wait to see the Strawweights strut their stuff. Atom weight is rather talented as well

I will make my Judgement on Ronda when she fights Zingano.
I was unsure on Weidman for so many reasons until last night, when he beat my Favourite Fighter in the Whole Wide World using some Solid Defense, A Chin, and Strategy.
