why does Ben tap his foot on the cage pad like he was signaling something? thats kinda strange..

That's the conspiracy theory from when the fight happened. That it was rehearsed.
More likely Pettis timed it
because
Bendo was doing that.
At least that's my guess.

yeah..with it being the last WEC fight I can see how that would make sense....plus it didnt look like it landed that much either....

Uh, no... If you ever fought before sometimes fighters do that to see how far they are from the cage to look for exit, side step or push off for an attack, it was not rehearsed, Pettis was always known to do slick things in the cage. Also he went to UFC and owned fighters there too, don't take this kick away from him.

I don't fight, never have and the first thing I thought was he's obviously doing that to gauge how far he is from the cage. Lots of reasons to want to know that.
Maybe he had a habit of doing that and rolling right and that's how Pettis timed the kick. So maybe in that way it was a cue. But I don't think the fix was in. Especially with Bendo.

Those popular 5 round decision fixed fights...

That was for realism! Let's pull off the coolest kick in MMA history but NOT have it finish the fight. No way they won't believe that! Now THAT is how you fix a fight my man! lol

? Uh... you didn't read my comment very well, that's pretty much exactly what I said, I even underlined the part to make sure there was no way it was misinterpreted. What are you, some kind of joker?
