Considering we have 3 major cards on tonight for which we can choose from, and how some have said they will not in fact be watching the premier organization, im wondering who you guys consider to be the top talent currently outside the UFC. The landscape is always changing in MMA so right now what are your personal top 3-5 fighters outside the UFC. Doesn't have to necessarily based strictly on talent, and they don't have to be young prospects, they can be proven veterans, even released fighters. They could also just be fighters you enjoy watching. Who ya got!? I'll start
1)
Liam McGeary.
Dynamic Striking, well rounded, very big for weight class. I think this guy could crack the top 10 in a relatively weak LHW division.
2)
Ben Askren
. He doesn't fall under the "favourites" category, however he is undeniably a high ranked WW. His wrestling pedigree is unmatched, and I would like to see him face some higher end competition. I would also like to see him lose/ get KTFO, so joining the UFC would be a start.

Justin Gaethje.
WSOF champ, Undefeated, only one decision. Nuff said, this guy is a killer, needs a step up. If he beats Guillard handily he should be signed very soon.
4)
Marcin Held.
This one isn't an obvious choice but he is a prospect for sure. World Class BJJ, needs to polish striking a bit, (<--see what I did there) at only 22 years old he has tons of potential.

Patricio Freire
2o-2. Current champ, big name wins. Violent, exciting very fun to watch.
