Maia vs Fitch was more surprising than Nate/Saffiedine IMO
Even Burkman vs Fitch is up there

1. Silva/Weidman
2. Newton/King Mo
3. Burkman/Fitch
4. Miocic/Nelson
5. Lawler/Kos
Bigfoot/Overeem was an upset but i wasn't all that surprised by it. Overeem can't take a punch to save his life so him losing to someone with ko power is never that surprising

If by upset we're talking about fans getting mad, Silva losing is #1.

Agree, Weidman probably isn't even top 20.

BRF's list is closest for me. Just going to say out loud though that I had Silva beating Overeem in gambling/fantasy
For me, Lawler/Kos was a bigger upset. Roy Nelson/Miocic wasn't a huge upset because Nelson's fat and short notice fights for fat guys isn't a good thing. Also he's lost before to similar level guys.

Kelvin Gastellum vs Uriah Hall, although I picked Kelvin, most people were on Uriah's nuts.

I'm a huge Lawler fan and that's how I HOPED it was going to play out, but i'd be lying if i said i wasn't surprised. I was skeptical that he'd be able to get back down to WW since he's been fighting at 185-195 for the past several years. He's scary at WW. By far the hardest puncher in the division.

I'm actually on the fence with Lawler, always have been. I remember old UFC Lawler and always thought "what's the big deal with this guy?". I still don't know where I sit. I'm not huge on Kos anymore against big punchers but still figured he'd handle "overrated" Lawler. Would like to see him beat another top guy before giving him top 10 status.
