So fellow junkies, who do you guys think are the top couple fighters in each weight class not under the ever-broadening
ZUFFA unbrella-ella-ella-ella.

as of now
1) Hioki is the highest ranked one not udner the umbrella. not only that but the guy has more legit top wins then anyone else at FW
2) Warren his wrestling is the best of the best, his chin is f---ing granite, his strikin is coming along, and he has a s--- ton of impressive wins himself
3) Eddie hes on a pretty impressive win streak and has a lot of notable wins himself. he is well rounded and dangerous as hell.

LW: Alvarez, Aoki
WW: Askren, Saunders, Heiron
MW: Lombard
LHW: Jardine?
HW: Fedor (I think), Konrad
Now Bellator is the best non-Zuffa promotion.

A question would still be how many fighters will actually fight under the Zuffa umbrella. Will Barnett actually get a fight in SF? it went from April to August pretty quick. So that doesn't look good. What will Daley and Diaz do respectively? Daley has already said he's got issues with it.
Overeem is the SF champ, but as far as i can tell, no one owns the 'Reem, he fights where and when he chooses to. Again another fighter who's had his fights pushed far back.
Some fighters only are signed to a few fights. JZ and Aoki, and some others... will they stay in SF long? JZ already wasn't happy with the lack of fights. i'm actually surprised Aoki is fighting Lyle because that's pretty far down the ladder for a Japanese star.
Jason Miller doesn't appear interested in UFC or SF that much, so maybe he opts out.
M-1... well M-1 will always do wahtever they feel like.
Will wait a few days to see how some of this unfolds before trying to figure out who's going to continue to be under the Zuffa banner.

Heavyweight - Fedor, seeing as his contract is with Showtime and not Strikeforce.
Light Heavyweight - More than likely Keith Jardine... which sounds horrible.
Middleweight - Hector Lombard, Mamed Khalidov
Welterweight - Ben Askren, Jay Hieron
Lightweight - Eddie Alvarez
Featherweight - Hatsu Hioki, Marlon Sandro, Bibiano Fernandes
Bantamweight - Masakatsu Ueda
I'd have said Siyar Bahadurzada too, but he's been under contract to Strikeforce for over a year and recently he's been campaigning to get it torn up, going as far to verbally tearing Scott Coker and Strikeforce in general new arses over Twitter.

Yeah, I think a lot of the fighters will opt out once their contracts are up. Bellator has got to like this news. It moves them up to #2 in North America and I'm guessing many of the fighters you mentioned will think about going to them.
