Im not sure if this has been reported here before but this kid is a badass
January 5th, Bakersfield, CA - A 9-year-old Bakersfield boy is getting a lot of attention after saving a girl from a vicious pit bull.
Drew Heredia and his female friend were walking the girl's small dog when the pit bull attacked it. The girl tried to intervene but then the pit bull turned the attack on her.
Heredia didn't run away but instead he jumped on the pit bull and applied a choke hold that he learned at a local Brazilian jiu-jitsu studio.
Heredia held the dog in the chokehold until an animal control officer arrived.
The girl was taken to the hospital with numerous puncture wounds. She and her dog are expected to recover.

Yes, I proved that in the original thread. The pic of this "pitbull" showed him having hair much longer than the breed standard. Therefore he is not pitbull, but a cross or AKA a mutt. If a Rottweiler attacked someone and they showed the pick and he was brindle, then it wouldnt have been a rott. Same rules apply to pitbulls.

Not really, mainly because I dont believe the story. I bet the dog was in chill mode and the kid was basically holding it. I even posted a Youtube vid in the OG thread, showing my son who has more experience in Judo than this kid had in BJJ, trying to hold down a 35-40lb purebred pit, and he couldnt keep the dog held for more than a second. If a pit wants out of a hold, they will get out. This is true even with a grown man.

I tend to agree with you Show ... i had a 70lb American Bulldog(beautiful dog) and would try to hold her down and if she wanted up she could and would .... not even a 9yr old spawn of Fedor&Chuck Norris/Judokan/BJJ Blackbelt/ could hold down an inraged Pit.
