I suppose next year will be much worse with the adition of another womens division and nearly 50 events with more TUF scrubs from all over the world joining in, but I guess gotta take the good with the bad, but we have two tuf finalist who will never be Champions, mixed in with low names and tuf contestants. There really isnt a good co-main or anything like that. I love mma, and fighting, I even watch tuf, but its come clear to me by watching lots of other organizations that the UFC has the best talent but certainly not all of it, cause lots of garbage gets thrown into these tuf situations.
Diaz vs Maynard
Pena Vs ???
Holdsworth Vs Davey
Akira Vs Blanco
Yahya Vs Ninimaki
Rosholt vs Harris
Spencer Vs Dober
Sampo Vs Benoit
I mean, I like Rosholt, Davey has looked good, but seriously the rest is an unknown and uhhh...... The problem with many of these TUF guys is you dont know if they have platued yet, and they get this short contract and we have to be put through the punishment of their boring wall and stall type fights. If anything we get a bonus when they get dominated and honestly I dont like seeing anyone get dominated. Even guys I dont like.... Contrary to what you guys may believe in my hate, I dont have any for any fighter, except maybe Overeem. That guy just really really urks me.

Since when are TUF cards suppose to be amazing?
s--- went down, they needed the title fight at this event to go to sell a bigger event.
Skip it if it doesn't interest you. There is plenty of MMA to go around

I think the UFC is not only looking for "the best talent" but talent they think they can develop early in their careers to potentially become a top guy in the future. Guys like Dennis Bermudez or TJ Dillashaw probably would have had a way longer road to the UFC had it not been for TUF.

true, I wasnt sure about Dillashaw, but I liked Bermudez fight to get in the house. I knew he had what it took, bu tsometimes they have hit a platueu. I like Sam S. Some of the other guys, Rashad, there is 1 or 2 every season.... that stay, but the older seasons had many more because that was the way they were bringing in talent but now the model is bringing is talent that is behind the free-agent contractors they are bringing in.

That comes with the growth of the sport. I would think it's safe to say training MMA wasn't nearly as popular when TUF was getting started than when the sport became as big as it has these last couple of years. There is just that much more talent out there these days that there are tons of ok guys who make each other look weak....or there are a ton of weak guys to make 1 or 2 people look good.

Sadly this happens quite frequently. IMO there's really no such thing as a bad card. Sure some are more exciting/entertainig than others but its all good to me. Kinda like Pizza actually.

Way I see it, the cards with the lesser names have better potential to be exciting than star-studded cards. Some of these guys are getting rare TV exposure and are looking to capitalize in the biggest way they can. It make determine whether your fights should always be on TV or you should be a facebook fighter or worse....out of the UFC.

Looks good to me. Holdsworth, Niinimaki, and Sampo debuting is enough to get me to watch, and im always down to watch a Diaz bro fight. Jared Rosholt is one of the few real HW prospects out there and he's debuting also, plus there will be multiple women's fights and if history has shown us anything they will all be great fights

Let the whiny bitchfest continue!
C'mon @Psycholcon , how many times have we gone through this pattern before? We s--- on an event because of the names on the card, and then it turns out to actually be an awesome card! And vice-versa, we hype an event full of big names with star quality, and the fights sorta go down the pooper.
If you don't watch this Finale, then that's your loss, because you may be missing out on the breakout moment for a future UFC Champion. These fighters aren't gonna be rookies forever. They can learn to make the necessary adjustments over time, and eventually become greater than we could ever imagine!

I love the main event, but have to agree that this is the worst card ever overall.

You do realize that there is an undocumented period of time in between the end of TUF tapings and the actual finale, right? A lot can happen in that period of time.

Didn't this card lose Mighty Mouse vs Benavidez like two weeks ago? They couldn't really do much about it in such short notice.
Diaz/Maynard is enough for me to watch.

Finales are usually talked about in the official TUF thread. That's been pretty normal in the past.
