I don't really care about all of these circus matches.
That said, I can't for the life of me understanding why Woodley is being billed as a boxing first striker.
D-1 wrestler, BJJ black belt, excellent take down defense? Check, check and check.
World class striker/boxer?

Well there are actually some highlights they can use of him knocking people out. Some of them very violent. As opposed to their last match up with Askren... is there one single striking highlight clip of him from his entire career? Other than him being a real professional fighter, not much to work with there for the marketing department. So it makes Woodley seem like Mike Tyson in comparison.
This is actually somewhat interesting to me because I think this Jake Paul character has somewhat legit skills and I very much enjoy how easily he is ruffling the feathers of people who are so uptight about this stuff. I mean this guy has made more money in 3 fights than all these guys in their entire career. All of his antics will only raise the $$$ stakes for them indirectly so I actually do think there is something for them to gain here. If another avenue exists for these guys to go fight 'exhibitions' and make millions that is certainly going to put pressure on the UFC to pony up a bit more cash for their events. Especially if someone like Conor starts to play ball. Right now these guys have no other leverage and as stupid as this is, this is big money leverage for them.
You know what I am concerned about here? Woodley taking a dive. He's at the end of his MMA career and he's going to make a few million here probably. The Jake Paul train gets derailed with a loss so they might be paying TWood nicely to play along here. Not sure if Woodley's that kind of guy but that is the kind of thing you have to worry about with these kinds of events. Everyone loses as soon as Jake Paul loses.
