What are your thoughts on this boxing match?
I find this trend wildly entertaining.
It’s polarizing because it is so divisive.
I will assume the line will favor Paul, at least initially.

What do you reckon Tyron does if he gets knocked out by a YouTuber?

I suppose humbly he’ll recognize his opponent was a better boxer that night

I'll probably drop a ton on Woodley. Cannot believe he's the dog.

Correct. If Woodley shows any kind of fire like he did last fight i dont think paul lasts long. Nobody can be overly confident though.

I’ve underestimated Paul before but after looking at his training. His hands are really not that bad at all. Unlike Woodley, he’s a natural 185er too. That being said. Woodley has good boxing and really heavy hands. I’ll be putting some coin on him as well, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see Wood get ktfo. Should be an entertaining scrap. No way will I pay for this.

Like any of these, I hope the Paul brothers get KTFO.

I don't really care about all of these circus matches.
That said, I can't for the life of me understanding why Woodley is being billed as a boxing first striker.
D-1 wrestler, BJJ black belt, excellent take down defense? Check, check and check.
World class striker/boxer?

Well there are actually some highlights they can use of him knocking people out. Some of them very violent. As opposed to their last match up with Askren... is there one single striking highlight clip of him from his entire career? Other than him being a real professional fighter, not much to work with there for the marketing department. So it makes Woodley seem like Mike Tyson in comparison.
This is actually somewhat interesting to me because I think this Jake Paul character has somewhat legit skills and I very much enjoy how easily he is ruffling the feathers of people who are so uptight about this stuff. I mean this guy has made more money in 3 fights than all these guys in their entire career. All of his antics will only raise the $$$ stakes for them indirectly so I actually do think there is something for them to gain here. If another avenue exists for these guys to go fight 'exhibitions' and make millions that is certainly going to put pressure on the UFC to pony up a bit more cash for their events. Especially if someone like Conor starts to play ball. Right now these guys have no other leverage and as stupid as this is, this is big money leverage for them.
You know what I am concerned about here? Woodley taking a dive. He's at the end of his MMA career and he's going to make a few million here probably. The Jake Paul train gets derailed with a loss so they might be paying TWood nicely to play along here. Not sure if Woodley's that kind of guy but that is the kind of thing you have to worry about with these kinds of events. Everyone loses as soon as Jake Paul loses.

Tyrone definitely isn't a great Boxer. He is however several leagues beyond Askren in that capacity.

That is very true.
He also hasn't recently had hip surgery.

I am curious to see how chad johnson does in his bout. Not curious enough to pay for it, but his whole camp was with the charlo bros supposedly he has done sparring from college years. Not sure how true, but his oppenent isnt a safe bet to even call a journeyman.
Could be a fun niche sport they are creating. Purists will cry foul, but if there is demand for it then all good.

With all the choking Woodley has done over the years, this seems to be the most obvious scenario to me: He'll be way too defensive and just look for a big MMA type counter, misses it a bunch, gets tired out, and just wants to go home. Goes down a few times in a round from decent punches, ref calls it. Jake Paul TKO Rd 4.

Doubt it's tomorrow. Probably when he faces an actual boxer he'll show some chinks in the armor. Gotta give the guy credit, he has taken it seriously and it doesn't hurt that he can afford to bring in anyone willing to come train with him. He also has a huge weight/height advantage with this at 190lbs. I think Woodley is going to look lost when the bell rings, not as bad as Askren, but similar as the fight goes on.

I got some money on Woodley in the 1st and 2nd rounds. He will be dangerous early on. 3rd and 4th round for Jake. After all the shenanigans by Jakes nerd team with Woodleys mom. Even though I’m not a fan or ever will be of Woodley. I really hope he brutally knocks out that putz! Can’t wait to watch it…….on you tube Monday morning.

I think Paul will win, I want nothing more than to see him retire after having his face smashed in by Woodley.
I may not watch it live, I felt so bad for Askren after his KO loss to Paul, would hate to see the same thing happen twice

I think Paul's boxing and ko power are legit. However, I'm curious as to how he will react to getting hit really hard in the face in a real fight. Does he panic, like most novice or remain poised. I think Tyron can provide this challenge.
