PRIDE = Stack
UFC= Not really stack.
But that is just the UFC's policy I guess... PRIDE threw everything they have in pretty much every card (I think DREAM is following the same steps, they just lack of enough talent), they would've have not any problem to get in the same card, Fedor, Nog, Wandy, CC, Shogun, Arona, Aleks, Barnett, etc etc.. they did not save anything for the next, that's why we PRIDE lovers are still in love with everything that has to do with PRIDE. Though I got to admit that UFC since Affliction, has been putting some pretty good cards, some very stack cards like never before.

Pride had a lot of subpar cards. Hell the last two Pride cards were incredibly weak overall with just a couple big names in them. Even the last Shockwave card wasn't all that stacked, though was a good card.
Most of the Bushido cards were subpar. They had one or two solid fights, but a lot of filler in them. I mean the second biggest fight on Bushido 7 was Phil Baroni vs. Ikushia Minowa and the main event while having Gomi also featured Azerdo.
Pride 30 - Fully Loaded was incredibly weak outside of Mirko vs. Barnett. Sure it had some ok names on it, but the fights weren't close aside from Kharitonov vs. Werdum (and at the time of the fight, werdum was still a raw up and comer).
Pride's problem was they always had their stars fight cans and the fights just weren't entertaining except in the later rounds of their tournaments (the absolutes and shockwave shows were all stacked, but those were once or twice a year). I mean Pride 31, had a ton of big names, but none of them fought other big names and the main event was Mark Hunt vs. Yosuke Nishijima. Even the first U.S. card Pride 32 was full of one sided fights on paper, that were one sided fights in reality. Pride loved putting together these big mismatch shows with the hopes that the underdog would pull it out. Frankly that crap just isn't entertaining (which is the same damn thing Affliction did, one or two competative fights and the rest featuring stars in easy fights).
