What does the UFC have to gain by cutting out the controversial comments by Lesnar and Hendo? Both Lesnar's sponsor bashing and Hendo's 'that last one was just to shut him up' were cut out. And I certainly don't believe it was because of disk space issues. Did they think we would all just forget? Is anyone else annoyed by this or am I just easily bothered?

How bout they editied out lesnar because he was bashing sponsors. You dont release that on your dvd.

That sucks that they edit out a fighters entrance songs. I often root for a fighter if he shares my musical taste, like Krystoff slophzynzisky who comes out to "system of a down". Obviously the UFC is going to edit anything that could be damageing to the organization but, why the entrance music?

They edit the entrance music because if they don't they have to pay royalty fees to the artists' labels. And if you knew how much $$$$$$ the labels try to squeeze out just to include the song on a DVD you'd be editing them out too

Still, I like to feel the atmosphere like you get to enjoy during the PPV. Fighters coming out to some crappy music on the DVD is not cool. Plain and simple, I wont buy them anymore unless its a fight I want to see over and over. I have a hard time talking myself into buying Pride Grand Prix in 2006 wandi vs Cro Crop 2.

Brick- At least you have the option to FF to the fight. If they edit the music out than I lose the option to hear it.
Copper- I know Manny came out to the song "Toxicicty" @ the TUF finals but, I haven't heard Him or Karo come out to System since.

The editing all makes sense. If you've ever bought a live fight DVD before, you would not be surprised at this. It costs too much money to pay for the rights to the fighters songs and editing out stuff that was hot topic of conversation and controversy is just the UFC trying to cover their collective asses. I do not fault them.
I compeltely understand the UFC taking outs Brock's comments on its sponsor but why in the hell would they take out Dan Hendersons. That upsets me.
Also hate how the UFC edits entrance music. Its so annoying trying to listen to Brock's entrance (Enter Sandman) with some crappy music playing instead of it. I also like a fighter a little more if they come out to a song I like.

they edit out the songs because they dont have liscense to use them and of course they are going to get rid of the Lesnar running down there sponsors, I also can understand why they cut out Lesnar flipping the birds to the fans that may have been ok in the dark ages when Tito was doing it but the UFC's gone main stream and Brocks arguably there biggest star. In the NFL if a player flips off the fans he'd get suspended or fined. As for Hendo's comments you could make an argument either way but again the sports gone main stream and qoutes like that are just fodder for the people that call the sport barbaric, if that had happened during McCain's human cockfighting days he and others like him would have gone to town with it
