UFC 328: Chimaev vs. Strickland | Newark

That's a much better view than the clip I saw. Did he try to kick him in the nuts??? He and his ilk have no honor.
His family is stuck in Chechnya, he had to do it. You don't know up there on your Chinese hillside surrounded be white women

Well yes the man’s just came off destroying Brandon Moreno, the first man do to it actually, Van got destroyed by Charles Johnson and was rather fortunate to win the belt against an injured champ. Anything can happen over 5 rounds against a fit, younger fighter like Van, but I’m confident in Taira submitting him.

Now that I’ve said it though, I’ve probably jinxed myself now and Van will confidently defend his belt.
Pantoja was injured in combat, not before. It's a legit win from an action Van took. Dissapointing how it happened ain't the same as illegitimate

Of course it's legitimate but it doesn't tell us much. Luck has a role in every fight but some more than others. The injury was fluky, 1 in 100-1000. Nothing about that fight convinced me that Van is better than Pantoja. I wouldn't even complain about it if he didn't act like he did something special but now even with time to think about it he's doubling down. Not a fan of Van.

last week I switched from the winner to the loser in the final hours GODDAMMIT

Don’t take the judges side, they’re useless anyway so don’t take notice of that. I have to be honest I don’t really remember the fight. It’s unfair of me to mention it as Charles has proven to have good conditioning and obviously hits very hard cuz he did the exact same when behind against Loner Kavanagh. He did that before they knew about the power he was obviously hiding. Vans already done well since that loss, but I was just pointing out how he can be underdog in this fight and with what Taira done to Moreno, and the fact that he’s 18-1 with a high finishing rate is the reason. Nothing against Van. I was just pointing out why he’s +200 and I get it.
oddsmakers don't know what to read of Van's title win, there's little data there worth a fuck for a title defense prediction.

tell you what though, Van treated his title win like he dominated and KO'd him. regardless of your opinion of that, he seems to have deposited a lot of confidence in the bank. you can't tell him that was illegitimate.

confidence is worth something, but how much?

I have theories and lots of logic on this card with my dog picks, but Van isn’t one of them for me. Vans good, excellent conditioning, good boxing, good hand placement with his guard, ever improving tdd, wrestling, juijitsu, but I have doubts with the right opponent and Tairas on a tear. I really never expected him to do what he did to Moreno.

bro I've intended on collecting data for that life suggestion to go with your first instinct.

yet here I sit trying to remember what happened the last few times I didn't.

also, I can't depend on my heart. or my dick. just 2 weeks ago I had a full on baseball game happening in which my dick was hitting homers with my heart as the ball. I've lost it.

Sure doesn't and that makes the rematch interesting. Just don't see why people make all these excuses around in co.petition injuries. It's not like he just stepped back and his shoulder exploded. Seems like everyones guy has a freak injury but when its a dislikeable charactee its all poirier checked a kick ans thats why Conors leg broke.

What we do know is poor footwork left Pantoja out of position and he got punidhed for it. Just like Aspinalls poor headwork got his nose all bloodied and put his eye where Ganes finger was
