Nobody's gotten close to mm.
And now days none of the 125lb champions have a desire to stay at 125 like Johnson did. So Demetrius' record of defenses at Flyweight will most likely be the standard bearer for the foreseeable future..
That said Joshua Van winning the UFC title in 7 fights is on the right track for Chase'n. the Goat.
Again he's nowhere near Johnson but at the moment it's pretty impressive. That he stands on top the UFC Flyweight division as the reigning undisputed champion. With 2 title defenses and a number 6 pound for pound ranking.
And he only started training 5 years ago.

So van pays for the trade off of Landing more than eight strikes per minute to MMs 3 1/2
Van doesn't have Johnson's submission threat either.
